The primary objective of this proposal is to: 1. Enhance the user interface for new designs in Tailwind, thereby optimizing the user experience. In order to achieve this, we will be developing APIs for BLT Flutter, which will provide greater flexibility and scalability to our system. 2. Additionally, I plan to implement an independent blockchain, which will enable us to create our own cryptocurrency, BACON coin. This will allow us to incentivize our testers whenever they receive likes on the bugs they post, thereby driving greater engagement and participation on our platform.
In my proposal, I'm suggesting we give the oemgaUp website a fresh new look and feel. The goal of this redesign is to make the website more modern, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. By making these changes, I believe we can create a more user-friendly and accessible website that will attract more visitors and increase engagement with the organization's content.
<p>ZAP allows the penetration tester to set up authentication for the web application being tested. This allows ZAP to run tests from the point of an authenticated user. This is an excellent feature as with the ability of session management and automatic (re)authentication ZAP can check for vulnerabilities that are hidden in authorized resources. This is also a good feature to test broken authentication and session management.</p> <p>However, as of now setting up authentication in ZAP is a multi-step process [1]. It is time-consuming and error-prone. This project targets to resolve this problem by adding three new features to ZAP.</p> <ol> <li>Automated configuration</li> <li>Guided configuration</li> <li>Authentication status scanning</li> </ol> <p>[1] <a href="https://github.com/zaproxy/zaproxy/wiki/FAQformauth" target="_blank">https://github.com/zaproxy/zaproxy/wiki/FAQformauth</a></p>
<p>ZAP is a great tool to detect vulnerabilities of different kinds in web applications and generate alerts accordingly. However, it currently lacks a user friendly mechanism to revalidate or retest the identified weaknesses. This project aims to address this, by implementing a retest functionality allowing users to easily retest previously raised alerts, by simply selecting them and choosing the “Retest..” option in the right-click menu. This prevents users from setting up the entire scan again, thus saving time and effort.</p>
<p>Pinyin input method plays a significant role among all the input methods in China all the time. Though these pinyin input methods on ibus such as ibus-pinyin and ibus-libpinyin, are more and more popular in China, there are still some shortcomings of low accuracy and low speed, for they always search words from local table dictionary. Accordingly, integrating cloud pinyin in ibus-libpinyin is imperative.</p>
Milvus currently lacks a Debezium source connector, meaning data can flow into Milvus (via sink connectors) but not out of it into the broader data ecosystem. This critical gap forces users into manual workarounds for data replication, auditing, and prevents the creation of hybrid pipelines that join vector search results with relational data. The plan is to implement a Hybrid strategy focused exclusively on the future-proof Milvus 2.6+ StreamingNode architecture. This approach will leverage two separate sources to guarantee a complete and ordered change stream: Woodpecker Streaming Service (WAL): Used as the only source for all Data Manipulation Language (DML) events (inserts and deletes). Etcd Watch: Used as the cleanest source for all Data Definition Language (DDL) events (schema changes), which simplifies parsing and aligns with Debezium's schema history mechanism.
This project aims at improving User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) related features across PublicLab.org. This includes better interlinked navigation between wiki and related store pages, adding a suggestions page, developing a category tree interactive feature and other improvements that aid or enhance the overall experience on the website, particularly for educators. Some are navigational, some are stylistic, and some introduce new interfaces or ways of browsing content.
Some VR headsets such as Meta's Quest 2 come with a Virtual Desktop tool that lets you connect your computer to the headset and get virtual desktops. There's a client-side application (Meta Horizon Workrooms) and a desktop-side component. The desktop-side component exists for Windows and Mac, but not for Linux. That's what we want to build. The goal is to come up with a working prototype that is good enough for early adopters to play with and other developers to join the effort.

<p>Classroom for GitHub is a Ruby on Rails application designed to automate repository creation and access control, making it easy for teachers to distribute starter code and collect assignments on GitHub. However, it does not have powerful student management functionalities right now, which means a teacher can not reassign students to another team, change the team name or set an identifier for students, etc.</p> <p>To make the GitHub classroom more wonderful, I propose to implement various features for student management and build a student management interface for the classroom project, on which the teacher can have an overview of students involved in the classroom, management group assignment teams, and add identifiers for students, etc. By implementing those features, we can make GitHub classroom more easy to use and give the teacher more control on their classrooms.</p>
Reflective learning enables students to recall past experiences, develop critical thinking skills, and improve future actions by analyzing them. This technique allows students to learn quickly and intelligently. Hence, this project aims to implement a reflective learning feature in Music Blocks using open source LLMs and frameworks like LangChain to harness AI to assist student in their reflective learning process.
<p>rutorrent mobile interface is a project that started last year under the organisation CCExtractor Development and it's gone quite well, with the user base growing and a number of contributions being made by other developers. The aim of this project will be to improve the overall architecture of the project with improved and in detail documentation, multiple environments for testing, implement new features to the project and make a release of the app.</p>
The "Turn All References Blue" (TARB) project at the Internet Archive aims to tackle the issue of content drift in Wikipedia hyperlinks. Content drift refers to the phenomenon where the content behind a URL changes over time, leading to a discrepancy between the original cited information and the current content. The project leverages machine learning models like BERT and BART to identify and flag such instances of content drift. It then suggests replacements for the content drifted URLs with stable references from the Wayback Machine, ensuring the reliability and integrity of Wikipedia citations.
<p>OSEM is an event management app tailored to Free Software Conferences. OSEM already has a feature to sell conference tickets to its attendees. At the moment the user has to buy the ticket online and pay on arrival at the conference. OSEM currently lacks the ability for a user to pay for its tickets as per their convenience. In this project, we aim to fill this gap in functionality by adding online ticket payment feature. This will improve user experience by making the ticket purchase workflow smoother.</p>

<p>The aim of this project is not only to build features that will speed and ease administrative tasks for the Lumen project staff, but also to build gateways to help import data from several sources for analyses. This project will also take care of upgrading the current framework to the latest version and fix any loopholes that might make room for security breaches; hence protecting confidential information. My work and contribution will be mainly based on improvement that includes, but not limited to, important upgrades of the framework, concentrating on the importer to make it faster and efficient.</p>
Quantifying the Commons — an initiative emerging from the UC Berkeley Data Science Discovery Program — aims to quantify the frequency of open domain and CC license usage for future accessibility and analysis purposes. To date, previous advancements have not included automation or combined reporting, which are crucial for minimizing human error and ensuring timely updates — especially when engaging with substantial streams of data. Therefore, the primary objective of this project is to develop automation software for data collection, processing, and report generation, ensuring that the Quantifying reports are consistently updated and never more than three months out-of-date.
<p>The current version of OWASP Nettacker needs some improvement in WebUI. I will make some changes to each page of the WebUI/API to make it look cleaner and cooler. My work will include changes in Basic and Advance Scan improvements in the New Scan Page. I will be changing the layout for the results and crawler page. Also, the changes will be done to the Page where individual results are shown in form of a Graph.</p>
The aim of this project is to make it easier to use MaveDB datasets for clinical use, as most of the MaveDB datasets are not annotated in a way that allows them to be combined with other genomic data. Datasets in MaveDB will be mapped to the human genome using the GA4GH Variant Representation Specification (VRS). This can be achieved by mapping sequences using alignment algorithms, transforming the results into VRS objects, and validating the results.
<p>Wide usage of CMS applications like Wordpress proved that once a site is setup, ordinary users can maintain, populate and extend the site through a well designed interactive GUI. The goal of this project is to develop a graphical user interface to achieve the same purpose for Jekyll so that non-tech Jekyll users can also use and enjoy their application better than before.</p>
Specialization is a compiler transformation that optimizes generic program code such that code using primitive types can execute without significant overhead. The @specialized annotation in the Scala 2 programming language allowed programmers to direct the compiler to create optimized generic data structures for each primitive type. @specialized is used significantly in the implementation of high-performance Scala 2 libraries, allowing for performance without the productivity of generics. This optimization trades performance at the cost of extra space, as generic code must be specialized for each of the primitive types, scaling exponentially on the number of type parameters. Since the Scala 3 programming language has evolved significantly from Scala 2, the @specialized annotation is no longer available. This proposal will prototype a new scheme of specialization for the Scala 3 compiler based on inline traits that avoids the performance pitfalls of the Scala 2 implementation, enabling the evolution of many high-performance Scala 2 libraries into Scala 3.
