<p>At this stage, the data visualization widgets available in the Internet Monitor Dashboard are all pre-tailored, with the front and back-end closely integrated (a custom UI for every data source), which makes it harder to scale up to new data sources.</p> <p>The goal of this project is to make visualization data-agnostic, in the sense that the backend is separated as much as possible from the front end, allowing for re-use of visualization code, easier scaling up, and giving the user more visualization options for both existing and new data sources.</p> <p>In my proposed solution, this is done through new, visualization-only/client-side meteor packages that are then integrated with new and existing widget-type packages.</p>

<p>SwellRT is a full-stack framework for developing decentralized real-time collaborative apps in JavaScript/Java/Android. It is based upon Apache Wave protocol formerly known as Google Wave protocol. This protocol is implemented over an XMPP transport layer. Our project aims to change to matrix protocol which is better suited for our requirements.</p>

<p>The objective of this proposal is to <strong>improve</strong> the existing user interface and optimise page speed of the <strong>Question Tool</strong>. The proposed layout improves user interaction and provides visibility of maximum questions at a glance. Moreover, the proposed <strong>update</strong> layout also <strong>reduces sudden changes</strong> to the interface such as flashes and ensures <strong>smooth injection</strong> of new questions to the existing page. Besides, the optimisation of JavaScripts and CSS files (i.e. static assets) helps the web page to be loaded relatively faster than the unoptimized version. And to achieve the desired output, <strong>Mockups</strong>, <strong>JavaScript</strong>, <strong>CSS</strong> and <strong>HTML</strong> will be used.</p>

<p>Book-a-Nook is an online platform where a user can look up for available community spaces like libraries and make reservation requests to the admin. The admin checks for the conflicts and sends the corresponding confirmations. This project aims to ease the process of confirming such requests. Another major aim is to allow admin to gain useful insights on such demands through graph visualizations and report generation. The project will also aid in notifying a requestor of his/her requests’ status and favoriting locations as well as nooks.</p>

<p>Implement a new Data Integration Platform that will allow for more data sources and a scalable ETL process. This will allow the <a href="https://dashboard.thenetmonitor.org/" target="_blank">Dashboard Widgets</a> and <a href="https://thenetmonitor.org/map" target="_blank">Data Platform</a> to utilize thousands of more historical data and provide a more dynamic view of "Internet Health"</p>
