<p>Email is one of the longest standing communication methods since the beginning of the internet and is still widely used and almost every internet user has an email address. One of the core ideas of Matrix is interoperability. Having the option to communicate with everyone without having to worry if the other person is also on the same platform as you are is a major concern while switching to another communication platform.</p> <p>The entry barrier to the Matrix ecosystem is lower as compared to similar projects due to the support of bridges. IRC, Telegram, Slack, Signal and Gitter bridges, to name a few, have reduced the barrier very much. By bringing email support to the ecosystem, we will be able to push the barrier to almost nil. Imagine the matrix system which will be able to communicate with virtually everyone that has a personal internet address!, i.e, the email ID.</p>
<p>Improve GitHub CI by automating it and unify submission of new samples through the existing platform.</p>
This project aims to integrate Radio-Browser.info into VLC Media Player, allowing users to browse and play internet radio stations directly within VLC. The implementation will use the free Radio-Browser API, eliminating the need to manually search and paste stream URLs.
Milvus currently lacks a Debezium source connector, meaning data can flow into Milvus (via sink connectors) but not out of it into the broader data ecosystem. This critical gap forces users into manual workarounds for data replication, auditing, and prevents the creation of hybrid pipelines that join vector search results with relational data. The plan is to implement a Hybrid strategy focused exclusively on the future-proof Milvus 2.6+ StreamingNode architecture. This approach will leverage two separate sources to guarantee a complete and ordered change stream: Woodpecker Streaming Service (WAL): Used as the only source for all Data Manipulation Language (DML) events (inserts and deletes). Etcd Watch: Used as the cleanest source for all Data Definition Language (DDL) events (schema changes), which simplifies parsing and aligns with Debezium's schema history mechanism.
This project will develop the core execution engine for Music Blocks 4, an educational platform that helps students explore music, mathematics, and programming through block-based coding. The Program Engine will allow users to create musical programs by arranging visual blocks and then execute these programs to generate music with precise timing. I will implement a robust Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) representation of programs, an interpreter that executes block instructions, a state manager to track variables and program state, and a scheduler for time-based musical operations. Key deliverables include a complete execution system for basic programming constructs, music generation capabilities, concurrent execution for multi-part compositions, and comprehensive error handling to provide clear feedback to users. The end result will be a performant, reliable foundation that enables Music Blocks users to create, share, and learn through interactive musical programming, with special attention to educational use cases and accessibility.

<p>Primero1 will be a free web app, designed basically for kids aged 4-7 to enhance their learning abilities in a fun, creative and natural way. This app will be a smaller version of Sugarizer. The app will be targeted towards Pre-k1 and Pre-k2 grade curriculum. The app will be focusing on kids who are non-readers and who are in the phase of developing their thinking, learning and collaborating abilities. The app will be made colorful so that it is fun & enjoyable for the kids. Sugarizer activities will include things like, learning about music, drawing shapes and learning basic mathematical concepts through games like Cuisenaire rods. Existing educational apps available online are too difficult for kids & the smallness of the icons of existing apps makes it difficult for the kids to play. Hence, our application can address these shortcomings. The goal of Primero1 is to allow kids to use Sugarizer as a powerful learning tool. We will ensure that the graphics used in the user interface are bright and of a suitable size, so that it can attract kids attention.</p>
<p>The CC Search website is a tool that is available to everyone on the internet, but its accessibility is quite low. The reasons for its low accessibility are varied in nature which affects different sections of people. Due to this reduced accessibility, it is not possible for everyone to completely utilize all the features that cc search provides and thus it becomes imperative to fix this issue. The final deliverable of this project will be a highly accessible website which everyone on the web can access from any device or region and which fully accommodates every visitor to enable them to utilize the search to its fullest.</p>
<p>Story is a fun way to get children to engage in narration. We simply generate some images and the learner should try to tell a story that ties the images together into a comprehensive narrative. It will help children to engage themselves in learning new things. It will help to enhance the imagination and creativity of the children.</p>
The proposal suggests redesigning the UI of Talawa-Admin to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. The new design should be deployed incrementally and should be reactive to all screen sizes. The layouts should be coded in Typescript and standardized templates should be created for commonly expected functions. The expected outcomes include improved workflows for managing multiple organizations, CRUD activities, filtering people and tags, viewing organization events, requesting volunteers at events, doing event check-ins, and managing pinned posts on the newsfeed. The proposal also suggests adding a properly documented design system and style guide to the Talawa-Docs repository.
<p>Performance testing is to analyze results and determine where the app performance can be improved and also improve users experience</p>
<p>The schedule of Events in OSEM would be the main part of the project. The admin interface to build the schedule page is a simple javascript which does not look very nice, is not integrated in the page, is not mobile friendly and has other issues. Also it would be good to have a schedule proposal page so that administrators can iterate before deciding which version of a schedule to publish (openSUSE/osem#18). Allowing an individual user to build their own schedule for the conference is another feature that would improve user experience (openSUSE/osem#587).</p> <p>Getting feedback from different types of users (organizers, speakers, visitors) who have participated in the conference is a desirable feature for this project (openSUSE/osem#549).</p> <p>The splash page can also be improved. In its program section only the tracks and a links to the schedule are shown. Some events could be shown (openSUSE/osem#400), for example the ones that are taking place now, although other alternatives could be considered.</p>
The project aims to make the following changes to the talawa-api: Enforce a stricter, standard graphql-pattern to get rid of the current anti-pattern nature that exists in the API. Resolve the relations that exist within the application optimally. Caching data for MongoDB collection entities having significantly higher number of read operations than write operations using Redis in memory Cache. Monitoring changes in the API schemas and relaying the changes to the client apps using Graphql-Inspector for better versioning migrations. Implement Data Normalization on the Client side(admin-portal and talawa mobile app) cache-store using Apollo Client Normalization. Providing a standard, scalable Error Handling mechanism within the graphql API using unions and interfaces to allow a consistent relay of Errors to the Client apps which will allow them to have more control over customizing UI behavior in case of errors. Implement stricter and simpler RBAC in the API resolvers in line with the business logic. Implement SSL in the client-server layer to encrypt all data exchanged between the client apps and API. Encryption of PII data within the SSL layer and in the Database at rest for added security using AES algorithm to encrypt and decrypt PII fields.
<p>Our project come in category of Testing which is EAT(EAP additional Testsuite) by which we can Test infinite software project versions .The best thing of EAT is creating the test once and testing with any version of the tested software . We can firstly applied with jBoss Servers and after that for similar structures .it has ability to merge test from remote.</p>
<p>I want VLC to have the ability to subtitle in real-time, obviously without having subtitles available. I would therefore like to implement a Machine Learning model that can generate subtitles in real time, at least for the English language. The idea is to use a deep neural network but I am open to other alternatives.</p>
<p>Code generator has been one of the best features in postman. It helps developers to quickly get snippets for the request in multiple languages and variants. The goal of this project is to give users more advanced code generating features by generating a SDK for an entire collection which can be directly imported into their code base and be used with full flexibility.</p>
Debezium lacks a developer-friendly CLI for managing CDC pipelines. I will build a dbz, a native CLI using Quarkus and Picocli, with two subsystems: a build subsystem that resolves connector dependencies and assembles trimmed OCI images using Jib, and a platform subsystem that wraps the Debezium Platform REST API for full pipeline lifecycle management including sources, destinations, and live log streaming.
