CoreDNS is a cloud native, authoritative DNS server written in Go. It provides dynamic service discovery backed by different data sources, including etcd and Kubernetes. It serves as a simple, flexible DNS server in both cloud-native and traditional environments.
<p>Improve current functionality of the OwnMailbox personal email server, implement support for a GPG Key Server and HSTS. Furthermore, thoroughly document the whole process, ensure the stability of the code and gain valuable knowledge on linux, cryptography and scripting.</p>
<p>The main goal of the project is to investigate how Google Cardboard can be used and integrated with MIT App Inventor, then - create some predefined components (use-cases). In addition to research, activities will also include improving Android components - ListView and Menu</p>
FFmpeg already supports WHIP, allowing users to publish WebRTC streams using HTTP signaling. This project aims to extend WHIP support by adding support for more codecs, enabling multiple media streams, providing full ICE support, and other related improvements.
Universal Network Objects (UNO) serves as the component model within LibreOffice. It enables users to interact with UNO components through various programming languages that have corresponding language bindings. The deliverable of this project is to develop language bindings specifically tailored for the lightweight scripting language LUA.
<p>ImageLab is an image analyzing platform. Users can load large set of images to ImageLab and then they can perform analyzes by labeling and clustering them by using different object detection modules. ImageLab also have a user management component as well as an image analyzing component.</p>
<p>The creation of a telemetry system, which allows you to better understand what users of Krita are using. That is something similar to clickstream analytics for sites. It is supposed to create: a client part, a backend server, a front-end server. The collection of statistics will help improve future development.</p>
Based on traffic scheduling, traffic limiting and circuit breaking in service mesh, enhancing the feedback capability of the server side (downstream service) in a distributed client-side(upstream service) load balancing architecture and making the client and server work together to improve the load balancing effect.
<p>This project focuses on refactoring code to kotlin and implementation of MVVM (Model-view-viewModel) architecture for some of the UI components of the application. Implementing some of the recommended Android architectural components along with kotlin refactoring to enhance robustness of existing codebase and make it more testable and maintainable for future development.</p>
<p>MapCampaigner is a field data collection organizing application. Organizers can define an area, define the features to collect, and recruit contributors. A missing component is an improved team management capabilities. This project would look to build out additional admin components for managing and engaging a team of contributors.</p>
<p>LabelLab is an image analyzing and classification platform. The web application should allow users to upload batches of images and classify them with labels. It will also have the features to run classifications against a trained model. LabelLab also has a user project management component as well as an image analyzing component.</p>
<p>The GStreamer libcamera element allows libcamera to be used in GStreamer pipelines. libcamera supports simultaneous streaming, for example having lower quality one stream for preview, while another higher quality one is used for recording. We would like to extend support for the GStreamer libcamera element to support this multistreaming.</p>
<p>This project will create a new module which can collect the necessary real-time data for the metrics in OpenMRS deployed servers. And which will present a monitor-friendly page of server metrics. It should constrain access to the page in a manner that doesn't rely on authentication (e.g., by limiting access to a set and/or range of IP addresses).</p>
<p>Currently parameter configuration of DolphinScheduler is mainly based on configuration files. However there’s no way to override parameters when the same parameter is passed as JVM parameter at server startup. This project is about introducing parameter injection from java JVM arguments to server runtime, so that one can override a particular parameter which is externalised to a configuration file.</p>
<p>Reel is Celluloid::IO native, evented server which serves as bare-bones for http and webSocket server providing functionality such as Connection Management and Multithreading , Fault Tolerance. This project aims to extend Reel by adding new important features such as Session handler,Multi-part parser, and bringing Reel up to HTTP/2 standard.</p>
<p>Purpose of this project is the creation of a data visualization component part of the BioJS BioJS. The visualization aims to create an association map among targets (proteins, protein complexes and RNA molecules) and diseases using the Open-Targets API. It is a portable "plug-play" web component, available be used by anyone interested to demonstrate association of similar nature.</p>
Prometheus recently [announced the second version of it's remote-write protocol](https://prometheus.io/docs/specs/remote_write_spec_2_0/), with support for new features on top of performance and cost savings. The work to be done is contribute support for this new protocol in the OpenTelemtry-Collector-Contrib repository, more specifically to the `prometheusremotewriteexporter` component. Expected Outcome: `prometheusremotewriteexporter` component with support for PRW v2.
<p>The <code>spatial</code> extension for SBML provides support for describing processes that involve a spatial component. This project seeks to implement validation functions for the <code>spatial</code> modelling package for SBML, thereby updating the extension to the latest specification. These functions will be used by the SBML offline validator to validate any models that contain a spatial component.</p>
<p>The project aims to program a demuxer in the libavformat and a parser and decoder in the libavcodec library. As DICOM files contain lots of metadata about the medical procedure done, the demuxer should be able to correctly identify and separate the data in the required number of streams. The DICOM decoder should decode the compressed pixel data and can extract a frame ( or multiple frames, depending on the stream ) from it.</p>
<p>Implement a module which will help give insight into the traffic of a Zotonic server/site through visualization of the stats in real-time. The system already knows a lot about the visitors (user-agent, referrer, ip-address etc) and it would be nice to leverage this into a real-time display per site or aggregated over the whole server. Including historical views for later analysis.</p>
<p>PANOPTES Observatory Control System (POCS) use different hardware components and scheduler which are closely connected to main Observatory class. Therefore, it makes whole architecture not flexible, and it's problematic to make dynamic adding or removing components. In order, to fix this issue the Dynamic Inversion principle will be used to modify whole architecture for flexible usage of the system.</p>
My proposal aims to test and integrate the featues of Istio-CNI and Kubernetes' Pod Security Standards that are require to run Kubeflow rootless as per CNCF best practices and help enhance security around the components of Kubeflow. It also aims to introduce Ambient Mesh as new data plane for Kubeflow's Istio component and plans to make the integration of these features into the next Kubeflow's 1.10 release smoother.
Some VR headsets such as Meta's Quest 2 come with a Virtual Desktop tool that lets you connect your computer to the headset and get virtual desktops. There's a client-side application (Meta Horizon Workrooms) and a desktop-side component. The desktop-side component exists for Windows and Mac, but not for Linux. That's what we want to build. The goal is to come up with a working prototype that is good enough for early adopters to play with and other developers to join the effort.
Create sustainable open source Ansible modules for creating/managing virtual server instances and storage devices connected to IBM Z. The final target state products could be used to communicate to various storage devices connected to mainframe and control HW function to automate storage managements. Intermediate target state would be communicating to IBM DS8K CLIs and/or RestfulAPIs to help initialization of storage device for virtual servers.
