<p>Currently the TUID service has stability and speed issues. The aim of this project is to investigate, understand the problems related to it and find a permanent solution.</p>
The objective of this proposal is to design and implement an in-context AI assistant, named Co-Pilot, tailored for assisting users in creating Concerto models. This AI assistant will be seamlessly integrated into the existing VSCode web-extension, Playground, or other chatbot marketplaces, providing users with intuitive access to AI-driven suggestions and guidance during model creation. Co-Pilot will support multiple foundational AI models, such as OpenAI, Bard, Anthropic, among others, and allow users to configure API keys for their preferred models. Additionally, the proposal aims to engineer LLM prompts effectively to aid users in editing Concerto models and measure the effectiveness of these prompts.
<p>It happens often that when an element overflows, its parent element ends up getting an undesirable scrollbar. To help debug such scrollbars due to overflow, DevTools already has the [scroll] inspector-badge in the Markup View, which allows a developer to detect which elements are scrollable or have a scrollbar.</p> <p>However, this alone is not sufficient for debugging what causes the scrollbars to appear in the first place.</p> <p>When debugging an unwanted scrollbar, a developer should be able to swiftly get rid of the unwanted scrollbar. One way to achieve this end-goal, is the following:</p> <ol> <li>Show the developer the innermost descendant element(s) which overflow(s) and cause the appearance of the scrollbar.</li> <li>Let the developer use other available tools to fix the unwanted scrollbar, as the information present to the developer when the above step completes should be sufficient to quickly fix the unwanted scrollbar.</li> </ol> <p>This proposal proposes implementing the above feature in the DevTools arsenal.</p>
<p>Primero1 will be a free web app, designed basically for kids aged 4-7 to enhance their learning abilities in a fun, creative and natural way. This app will be a smaller version of Sugarizer. The app will be targeted towards Pre-k1 and Pre-k2 grade curriculum. The app will be focusing on kids who are non-readers and who are in the phase of developing their thinking, learning and collaborating abilities. The app will be made colorful so that it is fun & enjoyable for the kids. Sugarizer activities will include things like, learning about music, drawing shapes and learning basic mathematical concepts through games like Cuisenaire rods. Existing educational apps available online are too difficult for kids & the smallness of the icons of existing apps makes it difficult for the kids to play. Hence, our application can address these shortcomings. The goal of Primero1 is to allow kids to use Sugarizer as a powerful learning tool. We will ensure that the graphics used in the user interface are bright and of a suitable size, so that it can attract kids attention.</p>
<p>Sugar has a lot of activities, with 250+ on GitHub, and more elsewhere. These have scope for improvement; bugs, features, updated human translations, and release. There are many activities which have not been maintained or updated for over a decade. It is important to port such activities from python 2 to python 3 along with porting them to Gtk+3. The support for python 2 is being withdrawn and the port to Gtk +3 to have a fully functional activity is important. Inaddition to that, the activity might require porting</p> <ul> <li>from GObject to GLib</li> <li>from GConf to Gio.settings</li> <li>from GStreamer Gst.Message.structure to get_structure()</li> <li>and porting to TelepathyGLib</li> </ul> <p>My project also includes adding feature improvements or fixing the features of the activity which are not working and fix display resolution issues. I will be collaborating with others to prepare activities for release and also test debian packages if needed. It is important to identify if the tracebacks are due to activity code, changes in versions of packages or due to difference in the test environment.</p> <p>So this project aims at making necessary changes to sugar activities to have at least 25 release ready activities.</p>
<p>The idea of implementing a solution for spam i.e SpamBrainz started in 2017. Since then, there has been progress towards it by implementing a high accuracy model in Keras called Lodbrok to detect spam. However, this model has been entirely trained offline with batches from a stored dataset. The proposed idea is to complete this integration and make spam detection automated and a thing of the past. The main parts I will focus on:<br> ● Implement online learning of the Lodbrok model using the SpamNinja system feedback as the classifier.<br> ● Complete SpamBrainz API to connect Lodbrok with SpamNinja.<br> ● Create a dedicated web-site for SpamBrainz documentation and setup needed to help new contributors and get more traction.<br> In the future, the same concept of spam detection can be extended to all other MetaBrainz projects</p>
<p>To increase the interoperability of the Galaxy Platform with GA4GH Cloud-compliant solutions, the goal of this project is to add support for the TES to the Galaxy and Pulsar. The runner would be implemented in Galaxy, would be able to convert the job requirements from Galaxy to the job script for TES, and would stage the job on TES remotely and actively manage the sent job until its completion. This would allow Galaxy to distribute the jobs across the TES computational Network. According to the TES specification, the Pulsar REST interface could be modified to bring standardization across the services.</p>
<p>In this proposal, we aim to implement the detection and analysis of the Kafka traffic in Linkerd so that users can watch their Kafka service in a better way. For this purpose, we will write a Kafka codec and integrate it with Linkerd, design metrics for Kafka service, and then create corresponding charts and forms on the web dashboard.</p>
This project aims to make contract execution easier by removing the need to write TypeScript logic for every template. Instead, it uses an LLM to understand the contract and execute it automatically. The system adds three modes—disabled, fallback, and force—so users can choose between normal typescript logic and LLM execution. It also includes proper validation and formatting to ensure correct outputs. The project will be tested on different real world templates and compared with existing logic to check accuracy and performance.
<p>I would like to work on issue #70, “OncoKB Analysis in Study View”. An inconvenience for both biologists trying to get valuable information to make informed decisions on prognosis and patients who would like to readily have access to this information for their own comfort, is the time needed to access this data. As the genomic data sets for each study vary in size, viewing annotations for studies that have large data sets in real-time is a challenge because it takes a while for the information to load. For example: MSK-IMPACT 2017 has a data set of 10,000 samples, so it will take a few minutes for the study view to load. I would like to work on the three backend tasks and first frontend task. This means pre-annotating the mutation data and storing it into the MySQL database and creating an additional column in the mutation table called “annotation”. Querying and using the web API to provide the information needed to solve the front-end goal of creating pie charts for oncogenicity and highest level of sensitive therapeutic implications per sample.</p>
<p>The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health aims to provide end-to-end solutions for clinical data use cases. The sensitive nature of data in the personalized healthcare sector frequently requires it's analysis on-site. Computation over the cloud allows the user to enjoy flexibility in hosting the data and its computation. Through this project, I aim to provide a proof of concept for a microservice that redistributes Task Execution Schema instances generated from the Workflow Execution Schema engine(s) based on parameters associated with data or the workflow ex. the time required to transfer data cost associated with the computation of the task etc.</p>
<p>Porting the database from Mongodb to Postgres to ensure data integrity. Authenticating users via Facebook, Google and Email using passwordless strategy provided by Auth0. This is to ensure more options in addition to existing Twitter authentication.</p>
Music Blocks v4 aims to create an educational programming language for kids. This programming language moves a sprite(rat icon) around the canvas as per the instruction written. Currently for writing the code music blocks v4 using a simple text area input. Users can write their code logic inside that text area input, build and run their code. My project will aim to create a powerful code editor which has features like code recommendation, syntax highlighting, status bar, prettification and syntax and semantic validation as user types. As programmers we all know the importance of a code editor and with this project I'll try my best to make a good code editor for music blocks v4.
Extend the "Chart" functionality on the Study View Page by supporting additional types of charts such as line charts and area charts. Support chart toggle functionality to allow users to select different types of charts for the particular data set. Implement "group chart" functionality to improve UX for chart analysis.
<p>The primary purpose of this project is to encourage the use of electric cars by taking a giant step towards addressing the range anxiety problem faced by all potential buyers. Electric cars are a great alternative to the traditional combustion engines and are known to run on electrically powered engines which reduces emissions upto cent percent. This project aims to provide a well sketched road map that can safely determine the distances upto which the car can travel without having to recharge in the midst of its on-going journey.</p>
<p>The goal of this project is to offer a faithful rewrite of <a href="https://github.com/tabatkins/bikeshed" target="_blank">bikeshed</a>, a tool used for generating many standards, in <a href="https://www.rust-lang.org/" target="_blank">Rust</a>.</p>
<p>ListenBrainz has recently shifted its statistics infrastructure from Google BigQuery to Apache Spark. Apart from delivering statistics/graphs to end user, using Spark’s cluster computing, its MLlib can be effectively exploited to build an open-source music recommendation system to promote artists across the globe and not only a selected few promoted by the major labels.</p>
<p>There is an underlying issue with scale degree block as we have it now. The current block does not perform the function that musicians expect when they think of scale degree. Instead the block functions in a way that we can specify a key/mode of a pitch length, input a number and result is a pitch in the chosen key/mode.<br> The current block has its utility in programming and we aim to keep it as such with a modified name. A new block for scale degree needs to be added with the desired functionality</p>
<p>This project is aimed to build an efficient BAM format to ADAM format converter utilizing Sambamba library base.</p>
The project aims to extend API Dash with Git-backed collections, a visual workflow builder, and a collection dashboard. This will enable developers to version and share API collections, design and execute multi-step API flows, and monitor API health and performance within a single unified tool. Problem Being Solved: API Dash currently stores requests in a flat local structure without version control or collaboration support. The existing load-all/manual-save model limits reliable syncing, introduces risk of data loss, and prevents building higher-level features like analytics and workflows. Additionally, users lack visibility into API performance and have no structured way to define multi-step API interactions. Proposed Solution: 1. A refactored persistence layer using request-level autosave (Hive LazyBox) for reliable and granular data storage. 2. A GitHub integration layer to enable version control, sharing, and collaboration on collections. 3. A visual workflow builder with a node-based interface to define and execute multi-step API flows. 4. An execution engine to handle request chaining, conditions, and shared data flow between steps. 5. A dashboard system to aggregate and visualize API and workflow performance metrics. Key Deliverables: 1. Request-level autosave system replacing the current bulk-save model. 2. Git support for collections (connect, import/export, push/pull, commit history, rollback). 3. Visual workflow builder with execution support, run history, and DashBot-assisted workflow generation from natural-language prompts. 4. Collection and workflow dashboards showing success rates, failures, and latency signals. 5. Production-ready documentation, testing, and UX polish for real-world usage.

Music Blocks v4 is a visual programming environment that lets learners explore programming concepts through music. Students use lego-like “bricks” to compose melodies, rhythms, and logical structures — making coding more approachable and creative. As part of GSoC, I developed the Masonry Module, a new system for how these bricks are generated and used. My work introduced a scalable block engine with detailed model-view architecture, a categorized palette, smooth drag-and-drop interactions, disconnection logic, and collision detection system to help users build programs. I also worked on connecting the visual bricks to Music Blocks underlying execution engine using the ASTs, so what students build visually can be run as code. This makes the environment both more intuitive for learners and more maintainable for developers. The Masonry Module now serves as a strong foundation for future features in Music Blocks v4, like macros, advanced animations, and performance optimizations.
