<p>NodeCloud is an easy to use abstract API which will remove the burden of switching in between many libraries to use cloud related APIs. NodeCloud is a Node.js library which will integrate Google Cloud and AWS services under one hood. Even though the scope of the project is limited to Google Cloud and AWS, according to the flexible, plug-gable architecture it will be convenient to add more cloud providers in the future of this project.</p>

<p>A ground-up implementation of a toolkit to extract, analyze and visualize interactions in multiple social networks</p>

<h3>Project Description</h3> <p>GoCloud is a golang library which hides differences between different cloud providers' APIs and allows you to manage different cloud resources through a unified and easy to use API.</p> <h3>The Problem</h3> <p>GoCloud only supports AWS and GCP now. More services need to be implemented, such as Azure, Ali-cloud, Digital Ocean, and Rackspace .</p> <p>Our task is to implement the major services of these cloud service provider in the GoCloud. I want to implement the services of Ali-cloud and Rackspace.</p>

<p>A social network evolves over time through the creation or deletion of ties among a set of actors.The volatile nature of social ties provides a strong platform to identify the dynamic network structure. This change of structural patterns can be well represented by the existence of dynamic graph objects Further, they can be enriched with the temporal information of social ties to define the recurrent subgraphs of interest. This would yield important insights about the correlation between patterns of ties in a social network. Major contribution of our study is the proposal and implementation of a scalable data structure to handle online and offline dynamic network objects. Hence, it can be used for large scale graph modeling, analysis and visualization purposes.</p>

<p>Security is a serious problem nowadays. Anomaly Detection might be a good answer to the problem. As the amount of data becomes extreme large, normal computing methods cannot handle such a volume. Running Big Data on Spark ecosystems might be a reasonable way. Its capability to compute data at large scale give us a good solution. However, most of data are unlabeled data; and labeling data not only means highly cost but also requires expertise in that domain. That is to say, using Supervised Learning algorithms might be unreasonable. In addition, Semi-supervised learning might not be a good way too as for its assumptions need some particular data distributions. Unsupervised Learning (Clustering-based) is a good start step towards this problem. Thus, in this project, I am trying to solve this problem by two phases: retrieving data from Elasticsearch-Hadoop; building a statistical analysis tool on Spark streaming computing from a clustering perspective. It aims to detecting the patterns in a dataset which behave abnormally.</p>

<p>Community of today used to use mobile phones to make their life easier and Community based mobile applications are famous among them. There are several kind of community based applications in use and most of them are relating to a specific domain. But core components have similar features. Address this issue and saving development time by Introducing a common app template with customizable components for community based mobile applications , is the main purpose of this project.</p>

<p>Goal of this project is to rewrite the current OpenDF frontend using React and make the UI fully component based . Also will use ES6, SCSS and Gulp for development. Also do component testing for the new frontend.</p>

<p>Nowadays, digital forensic tools are often used to investigate cyber crimes, which are becoming more and more frequent. OpenDF is a tool for forensic analysis of disk data. By having an image description module that automatically recognizes objects from the large amount of images that are available in a disk, it saves manual work for an investigator.</p>

We can seamlessly add new cloud provider as dependencies to core.</p>

<p>OpenPub is a publication manager for individuals and small research groups. OpenPub provides research's to upload and share their’s publications with others and get valuable feedbacks for their publications. It also allow users to easily find related resources in different areas and categories.</p>

<p>In MySensors platform the application communicate each other using Senzes language. At the moment there are no proper mechanism to generate and parse Senzes queries. From this project we will provide dynamic query generating and parsing library for Senzes language.</p>

<p>Being a web communication portal for Open Source organizations to discuss about their GitHub projects and their issues, Stackle provides the administrators the ability to create a forum thread for an organization and the users signing in are able to view, contribute and engage in them. The proposed system is an improved user interface in terms of consistency and design with the existing functionality and ones yet to be implemented.</p>

<p>This is a project that is intended to support Public Health Inspector (PHI) to find and investigate “Dengue(mosquito) breeding sites in a given location.” Breeding of mosquitoes is becoming a severe issue in Sri Lanka and it is difficult to investigate the breeding places in urban areas mainly due to the height of the buildings. Currently PHI’s are investigating such locations by themselves where possible.</p>

<p>SoundCom is an mobile application which can transmit data through sound waves.</p>

<p>Tracker is a Node.js application (Restful Service) + MongoDB stack which is capable of sending and receiving hundreds of GPS data in real time, with the functionality of being able receive GPS data from any GPS unit and store them in a Mongo database and allowing us to retrieve those data and manipulate to track those devices using its Restful service.Target of the project is to design and implement rich and responsive user interfaces for the managing and graphically representing of GPS data and information of the trackers.</p>

<p>ImageLab is an image analyzing platform. Users can load large set of images to ImageLab and then they can perform analyzes by labeling and clustering them by using different object detection modules. ImageLab also have a user management component as well as an image analyzing component.</p>

<p>With the low cost of sensors and many interesting usages of them, many industries and academia are increasingly using them. Automation is becoming hugely popular because of this recent popularity of IoT (Internet-of-Things). However as expected, IoT is becoming fragmented because of various standards and manageability of these devices are becoming quite complex. In addition to that these devices produce data 24x7, therefore processing and analyzing them is not a simple task because of the number of transformation steps to make the data ready for the required analysis. To solve these issues, I propose an IoT server developed using open source frameworks with the required interoperability and features.</p>

<p>This proposal is for User interfaces for Tracker project in SCoRe</p>

<p><strong>Stackle</strong> is an web communication portal aimed at providing Open Source organizations a platform to have discussions on their GitHub projects and their issues. It provides GitHub integration which allows administrator of an organization to create a forum thread for the particular organization. Users signing in is able to view forums of the organizations they contribute to and engage in the forum discussions.</p>

<p>Automated download queue to take the best use of internet bandwidth by monitoring the network traffic and downloading at the optimum time period.</p>

<p>The proposal outlines the approach and a tentative technological architecture of the solution I'm expecting to implement under the GSoC project idea of DroneSym.</p>

<p>The project is to rewrite the frontend of OpenDF with ReactJS and Redux. Some UI Components have been done and others will complete through the project. After completion the Frontend will be fully component based frontend. Also testings will be done for the newly created components.</p>
