<p>Currently the open-event-server has very unorganized and uneven frontend which does not look good on different screens. So I will be decoupling the frontend and building it with my team. We are using ember js to do this. Integration of the JSON API will be one of the major part of the project.</p>
<p>The project idea I would like to contribute to robocomp platform as a part of Google Summer of Code is a new component - or set of new RoboComp components - that allows robots to navigate in an environment with human(s) with social skills.</p>
<p>To build a web application similar to the existing Android and iOS clients, making use of the functionalities of SUSI.AI Server. The web application will have functionalities such as replying intelligently to user's queries in different formats including text, image, table, map, emojis etc, accounting features, personalization features and much more.</p>
I aim to enhance the Sprocket VSCode extension by integrating advanced language features for the Workflow Description Language (WDL) through the Language Server Protocol (LSP). This includes implementing go to definition, go to declaration, references, rename, auto-completion to improve the development experience for WDL authors. As a stretch goal, I will extend support to other editors like IntelliJ IDEA and Neovim
In an effort to improve the web development experience on Chromium, this project aims to add an efficient way to access Media panels to help debug media elements. In the DevTool’s DOM tree, a new link adorner will be added next to audio / video HTML elements. Clicking on this link adorner will direct the user to the media panel, which will display information related to that media player.
MetaSSR is a Server-Side Rendering (SSR) framework built entirely from the ground up during the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2024 program. It is a real-world use case for the MetaCall polyglot runtime, demonstrating how multiple programming languages can be utilized within a single SSR framework. Built with Rust and the Axum.rs web framework, MetaSSR is designed to offer developers a high-performance, versatile tool for creating SSR web applications.
Implement fuzz testing for KubeArmor using a suitable tool like oss-fuzz or AFL. Generate a comprehensive input set to guide the fuzz testing, profile execution using tools like pprof to detect anomalies, and identify components such as the policy controller, operator, configmap handler, and GRPC endpoints for testing. Document the entire process for repeatability in future versions and develop an automation strategy for ongoing fuzz testing. Expected Outcome: Improved OSSF Score; Standards for Fuzz Testing for KubeArmor; Stabilization of KubeArmor
This project would focus on implementing common designs and UI elements across the Mifos apps to provide a consistent look and feel. Project goals are: 1. Develop a common UI library to ensure a consistent look and feel of UIs for all apps. 2. Define a process for migrating apps to use the library. 3. Develop design guidelines and standards for the apps. 4. Develop base-level widgets, common UI components. 5. Implement screens and workflows to test out on reference mobile app. 6. Document how to use the UI library and how to update the app when the library is updated.
<p>Organizing an event like a Conference or a technical festival is not an easy task. Here’s where the need for a software platform to assist the team in managing the various aspects of the event arises.</p> <p>And I believe Open-Event could be the answer to that. Open-Event Organizer server shouldn’t just be for adding/editing and accessing the sessions, speakers, tracks, etc. It should also be able to assist the organizers in planning the event, managing it, and post-event documentation.</p> <h5>Deliverables</h5> <ol> <li><strong>OAuth 2.0</strong> authentication for the API</li> <li>Proper <strong>tests</strong> for the API</li> <li>Proper <strong>documentation</strong></li> <li>API page will be loading all available endpoints automatically</li> <li>Ticketing and sales.</li> <li>Support for organizers to link their Stripe/PayPal account to receive payments when tickets are sold</li> <li>Graphical interactive scheduler for scheduling sessions into their respective rooms and timings</li> <li>Invoicing generation and emailing</li> <li>Sales statistics, Fees and tax management</li> </ol>
A React-based front-end has been developed for the Software Discovery tool, but it needs thorough review, and improvements to the documentation before it goes into production. This mentorship will also cover side-tasks that include improvements to onboarding documentation and data source updates.
<p>The Identity Server currently supports SOAP as the service medium in between its PDP (Policy Decision point) and any PEP (Policy Enforcement Point) accessing it. Authorization requests from PEP should be sent to PDP to be evaluated through a SOAP service. In the scope of the project, a RESTful service is implemented along with the SOAP service.</p>
It’s no longer easy for an individual developer to make use of Uptane, be it for an early-stage automotive project using Automotive Grade Linux or just for an IoT project. Revive and release OTA Community Edition, so that it’s actually possible/reasonable for an individual developer or a small development team to spin up their own Uptane server instance. The open-source community will benefit from having access to a high-quality, usable and fully documented Uptane implementation.
Description: [LitmusChaos](https://litmuschaos.io) is an open-source Chaos Engineering platform that enables teams to identify weaknesses & potential outages in infrastructures by inducing chaos tests in a controlled way. This project aims to improve the code quality of the golang components of litmus chaos and refactor the codebase for adding the unit test cases. Expected Outcome: This will help the project to improve code quality, enhance the unit test suite, and identification of weaknesses
This project addresses the absence of HTTP streaming support in the Rage framework, where responses are currently fully buffered before being sent to the client. This limitation prevents real-time use cases such as incremental LLM outputs, live data feeds, and large streaming responses. Even when applications generate data in chunks, the Iodine server collects all output into a buffer and sends it only after completion, making true streaming impossible. To solve this, the project introduces native HTTP streaming using chunked transfer encoding across both Iodine (C layer) and Rage (Ruby layer). A new streaming path will be added to Iodine to support incremental writes with a robust backpressure mechanism, ensuring the event loop remains non-blocking. On the Rage side, a developer-friendly API (render stream:) will be implemented using enumerators and fibers, allowing applications to stream data declaratively while seamlessly handling pause/resume behaviour under backpressure. The deliverables include implementing the http_stream transport, a Rack-compatible streaming writer with lifecycle and backpressure management, and the Rage streaming API. The project will also provide integration tests, edge-case handling (e.g., disconnects, high load), and updated documentation. This enables real-time streaming in Rage while preserving compatibility and supporting future extensions like HTTP/2.
