<p>The current visualization shiny apps of PEcAn 'Workflow Plot' and 'Global Sensitivity' is facing problems including instability and slow responsiveness.</p> <p>I suggest to improve stability and performance of apps by using lazy-loading to load large amount of model output data, improving performance of plots, caching plots within apps and improving app scalability with async programming.</p>
Provide real time diagnostic information to chrome://webxr-internals/ (e.g. real-time logs), as well as high-level performance metrics (live framerate, tracking dropped frames, etc.). Some of this could be extended into additional metrics or similar that can be used to monitor general health of webpages, and there is a need to implement these performance metrics as a potential feedback mechanism for the Google Cardboard VR runtime.
Chromium’s multi-process architecture requires a mechanism for safely communicating between its processes. This requirement is addressed by Mojo - an IPC (inter-process communication) framework that uses the Mojom IDL (interface definition language) to describe interfaces, collections of messages and data structures. The goal of this project is to improve security by introducing a new fuzzing technique - snapshot fuzzing, as an improved alternative to existing fuzzing techniques.
Currently, Beam has code completion plugins for Python and Golang SDKs in JetBrains IDEs. For example, Pycharm has a plugin called Alabaster that suggests beam transforms after typing a pipe character. However, IntelliJ IDEA does not have code completion for the Beam Java SDK. In this project, I will implement an IntelliJ Plugin to auto-complete beam transforms for Java SDK users using a Starcoder Language Model.
<p>PyMC3 contains a rich suite of building blocks for probabilistic modeling and inference. This proposal contains two parts: first is finishing support for single precision, and second involves finishing Gaussian Process functionality. I have already submitted a proposal about exploring alternative computation engines, and am open to working with the mentors on mixing and matching projects from each, for example, evaluating PyTorch in addition to the projects in this proposal.</p>
As a built-in orchestration engine for Volcano, jobflow acts as an improtant role for users and it's still new-born. Many issues related to its stability are reported recently. Please help make full test for job-flow on the classical scenarios and reslove bugs reported in issues. - Expected Outcome: Make full test for jobflow and output the test report, fix bugs reported in recent issues.
This project aims at improving User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) related features across PublicLab.org. This includes better interlinked navigation between wiki and related store pages, adding a suggestions page, developing a category tree interactive feature and other improvements that aid or enhance the overall experience on the website, particularly for educators. Some are navigational, some are stylistic, and some introduce new interfaces or ways of browsing content.
<p>Siddhi provides an elegant solution to detect patterns among the events that happened. However, it cannot identify the absence of events using the pattern implementation. Instead, an alternative solution using Windows is suggested in the official document which is more complex than the regular patterns and less memory efficient when it comes to one-time pattern detection. The solution I propose here provides a native implementation for patterns to identify the events that do not arrive.</p>
<p>This project's goal is making the Linux kernel more error-proof through the detection of data races with the help of static verification tools. However, even the best verification tools can give false alarms and because of that this project would require extensive analysis of the verification results and communication with maintainers. Its desired result is finding the existing data races in Linux kernel and making steps towards their correction by maintainers.</p>
<p>In order to build Redox on Redox, Rustc has to be ported, along with Cargo, and any dependencies (such as LLVM). Additionally, the build process currently requires make and a Bourne-compatible shell, which will have to be ported, or a way to build without them provided.</p> <p>LLVM seems to assume it is running under Windows or Unix. So the code in lib/Support/Unix and lib/Support/Windows likely needs to be reimplemented for Redox.</p>

Provide console native app and web app samples Enhance ecosystem: a. Support ASP.NET Core and Blazor (Enhance Casbin.AspNetCore) b. Provide Official Redis adaptor/watcher.
TARDIS has a new module that transports gamma rays created by nuclear decay. The NNDC stores nuclear decay data in a format that is difficult to read and compile called ENSDF. But NNDC also provides a parser for this data online called “radlist”. This project will use the ENSDF archives from NNDC and the parser to download, process, and store nuclear decay data for all available isotopes in the Carsus HDF output.
<p>OWASP Seraphimdroid has previously applied a system, based on permissions, which is able to distinguish malicious apps from non-malicious. But it still has some false positive errors, like foodpanda app. In order to improve OWASP Seraphimdroid’s performance, we would like to learn from other outputs (like network, CPU, buttery and memory usage, system call logs) can monitor about application whether it can be malicious.</p>
Kubescape has a VSCode plugin to facilitate applying configuration fixes that harden Kubernetes infrastrcutture without creating a burden of context switching on engineers tasked with security scanning and implementing their results. Expected Outcome: Inetgrating container image scanning capabilities in the Kubescape VSCode plugin and implementing Kubescape's ability to apply fixes for configuration issues to YAML files or Helm charts directly within their development environment.
<p>The project consists of the creation of three new topological rules in the gvSIG desktop toolbox. These rules are '' Must be disjoint '', "Must not have dangles" and "Must be larger than cluster tolerance" that will help to verify the integrity of the spatial information, validate the representations and correct possible errors of the point, linear and poligonal geometries. Definitely, ensure the quality of geographic data with open source software.</p>
<p>Hi, I’m a computer science university student from Japan. I’m interested in binary exploitation and reverse engineering. I like software development, especially security tools. Metasploit is most famous exploitation tool in world, of course I often use it and, want to contribute it. Therefore, I’m most interested in this GSoC project. I have good experience with C and Ruby programming and debugging, exploiting. I can solve these tasks.</p>
Description: The Linkerd control plane includes controllers that are written in Rust. Enable users to dynamically profile the running application can aid significantly in debugging and diagnostics. Expected Outcome: In an upcoming release of Linkerd the policy controller would expose endpoints (leveraging [pprof](https://github.com/tikv/pprof-rs/blob/master/README.md) or another tool) for profiling controller resource consumption.
<p>Chat Bridge is intended to be a protocol-independent chat-bridge to allow messages forward to and from various chat systems.</p> <p>It has to support Telegram, RocketChat and IRC but it has to be modular (for future expansions).</p> <p>Current solutions do not offer an adequate integration because, besides generic text, not much is implemented. A big missing feature is the ability to exchange complex formats, such as images or file attachments.</p>
<p>Toolkit for Multivariate Data Analysis (TMVA), integrated into the ROOT framework hosts a variety of machine classification methods which have become essential to extract a maximum of the available information from the data in high energy physics. This project aims to provide support for feature engineering in TMVA toolkit by creating new features from the existing feature set based on some basic operations with the goal of finding higher-performing features.</p>
This R project aims to create a dashboard that provides an overview of the current status of language translations in the R community. This tool can benefit developers and organizers who are seeking information on language translations and can support the planning of diversity packages. It will recognize the contributions of regional volunteers who devote time and effort to translating messages into their native languages. The project aims to establish a framework for monitoring the translation status of R
<p>The project aims to provide a compiler extension and runtime for a new "paramserv" built-in function. In the context of large-scale machine learning, it will bring more performance when training a model with a data-parallel and model-parallel parameter server. SystemML already supports the data-parallel and task-parallel operator. Hence, we can focus on designing the parameter server primitive and implementing the parameter update strategies.</p>
<p>Discontiguous multiwords are multi-word expressions that are separated by something in the middle (e.g. "take the garbage out") . Apertium currently doesn’t offer support for discontinuous multiwords, and this is a source of many unfortunate translation errors. My plan is to improve the multiwords processor into being able to recognize sentences with discontiguous multiwords and then reorder the structure to place the whole phrasal verb together before entering bilingual dictionary lookup.</p>
The project aims to improve the CircuitVerse simulator and finish some pending work in the CircuitVerse desktop app. One of the primary goals of the project is to create tests for the simulator. The main benefit of testing is in the identification and subsequent removal of the errors. The goals for the project are: 1. Complete touch and mobile compatibility project 2. Complete the Desktop app 3. Implement import and export of circuit files 4. Add tests for the simulator.
Apache DataFusion is an in-memory query execution engine optimized for OLAP workloads using Apache Arrow's columnar format. However, to support queries that exceed available memory, DataFusion must spill intermediate results (e.g., from sort or aggregate operators) to disk. As a continuation of the community effort on external query execution, this project aims to improve the robustness of spilling execution and explore further performance optimizations including compression.
