<p>Gatsby is a blazing fast static site generator for React. The idea is to develop a gatsby-source plugin that pulls the whole content tree from the plone.restapi and make it available for querying via GraphQL in a hierarchical data structure. A basic gatsby-plone-starter will also be built that uses the plugin to source the data from a Plone site, showcasing all use cases with clear documentation for each feature.</p>

<p>This project is about improving plonecli and bobtemplates by adding several sub-templates like view, viewlet and portlets etc as well as improving existing sub-templates. Also improving the current scenario of Internationalising packages, making plonecli more accessible. The scope of this project also includes increasing test coverage and working on fixing bugs which comes along the way.</p>

Mentors: Student: Nilesh Gulia

<p>Create-React-App provides some convenience features, such as: a live development environment, boilerplate code, and standard dependencies pre-installed. The idea is to make Plone-react package as a dependency(library) to other packages and make ( use ) a create-react-app like app generator to generate the example boilerplate which fits with the package. By doing this it doesn't need to fork the repo everytime, just execute the command create-plone-react-app like so and we’ll be good to go.</p>

<p>At present, Plone have content rules to accomplish use-cases(provided by IFTTT) but with additionally written scripts. So the soul spirit behind this idea is to build a generalized mechanism which lets people integrate Plone with plugins/platforms outside of Plone environment with a little programming and easy UX.</p>
