The primary principle of the project is to allow the user the ability to switch to any setting on his/her phone based on location (identified by beacons). However, I plan to provide the users with a more pleasant experience through flexibility, by providing them with a wider array of choices, while making the entire process as simple as possible.

I am proposing a solution which would perform actions when a set of conditions provided by the user are met. Such an occurrence will be known as an "event". An example of an event would be if I am in my car (which would be recognised by the identification of the BLE beacon) and my headset is connected to the AUX cord, then open Google Play Music and play music.

The entire process would only require a simple one time set up and would provide the user with the ease of his/her simple day to day tasks being automated.

This project aims at building a solution wherein a user can easily navigate inside hospitals using an application in his/her smartphone. The application will show the indoor map of the hospital with the position of the user highlighted and updated as he/she move within the building. This solution does not require GPS but uses BLE beacons for positioning.

My meteorological station is a project that consists of building a homemade meteorological station using physical web beacon and raspberry pi.

The raspberry pi will have connected many weather sensors to get data. Likewise, will receive weather data from various external API in order to complete all weather information.

The beacon broadcast the URL with information about the meteorological station provided by raspberry pi. The beacon will have a fixed URL that will point to another, using the technique URL redirection.

As we have access to Google Liquid Galaxy technology in our LAB, also I will develop a visualization layer of this meteo information on the LG.

In other way to access the system, the user will communicate with the system by voice using a google assistant, allowing to have a conversational ui in natural language. The assistant agent will serve a request, receiving data from the raspberry pi using a webhook. This webhook will receive the data from the raspberry and return to the user the proper information.

The actual tests will be carried out in buildings of the PCITAL (Parc Cientific i Tecnologic Agroalimentari de Lleida), like Cedico, H2, and Magical Media.

Geographical Memories is a social platform to share travelling memories. By using Physical Web users are able to showcase their thoughts about different places in the world by simply getting nearby.

The aim of this project is to implement a backend for museums & exhibits that utilizes Physical Web technology. The backend will allow visitors to access information about exhibit pieces without the need to install any apps. Physically, this will be accomplished using Eddystone beacons located near each piece. We focus on developing the software used with the beacons.

To achieve this, we will create an Android App that allows museum curators to configure Physical Web beacons they want to deploy and upload the content that will be served. The app will support combinations of text, images, audio and video - it will use Google Drive for its storage backend. The app will also allow the curators to create a map of the exhibition & beacons - also stored on Drive.

Once activated, the beacons will direct visitors to the URI of a webapp that we will also develop. The webapp will run on a server that connects to the Google Drive folder created by the Android app. This webapp, run on the museum’s servers, will use the map along with Web Bluetooth technology to learn the user’s location (by listing nearby beacons and their signal strength) and display to the user the content most relevant.
