<p>I propose to implement one of the supplied ideas and create a gamification system that will encourage users to contribute content to the project and keep coming back. This will use achievements and badges that can be shown off as accolades of achievement and allow users to build a reputation among the community.</p>

<p>Currently Picard relies on web browser for searching tags manually. With this project, I aim to accomplish these two tasks:</p> <ol> <li>Display search results in a dialog box. These search can be for artist, release, or track.</li> <li>Display close matches when automatic tagging fails to find accurate tag.</li> </ol>

<p><strong>A submission API compatible with Last.fm scrobblers</strong><br> Right now ListenBrainz has its own API documented at <a href="https://listenbrainz.readthedocs.org/en/latest/" target="_blank">https://listenbrainz.readthedocs.org/en/latest/</a>. The idea is to create a new web service, layered on top of that one which spoke the Last.fm API, so it could be used as a proxy for existing Last.fm clients.</p>
