<p>Agora Web is a platform for managing elections. It makes use of the Agora library which is used to count votes and provide election results. This project will focus on creating a slack application that will be used to conduct elections within slack channels using preferential voting algorithms supported by the Agora library. This application will further push the Agora library yet to another set of users who are the slack users. There are some few similar slack applications that provide such functionalities but most of them have a very short list of vote counting methods available if not one. The Agora library with its large number of voting algorithm will be used to create this slack application and consequently will provide its users with over 30 vote counting methods available.</p>

<p>I propose to implement the following ideas in the project:-</p> <ul> <li>Enhancing and improving existing google action’s functionalities by adding a wizard-like query experience for users and writing additional scripts for improved and user-friendly responses. </li> <li>Adding guidance support to help users to reduce their carbon footprint.</li> <li>Adding Unit-Testing for robust development.</li> </ul>

<p>Agora vote is a voting platform where users can create elections and invite friends to cast their votes. It supports a wide range of voting algorithms some of which are Majority, Egalitarian, Australian STV just to name a few. Agora vote android application is the implementation of these voting algorithms. By this application we can create elections, invite voters and cast our votes very easily.</p>

<p>Fake news has become increasingly prevalent over the last few years. Fake news's adverse effect can be seen more and more as people’s reach to social media and to the internet is been increasing. Fake news is not only creating communal hatred but also, polarizing general elections.</p> <p>Click-bait waste a lot of productive time of people. These headlines are written in a very catchy manner such that people are tempted to click these links and they don’t contain any relevant information, hence making it necessary to warn a user about click-bait.</p> <p>This is a Chrome extension to detect Toxic comments, Fake News and click-bait news on news websites and social media like Facebook and Twitter.</p>
